These are the Gods that makes us. That was the journey that societies in ancient times, even in primitive cultures used as the backbone of creating culture, personal identity social cohesion and the sense of belonging between groups.
By reading both of these books again recently i came to realize that through our own mental psychic as we mature and grow we also struggle within our mental cave to come into the light with the very same process as we use through our interpersonal and social structures.
We all use daily the heros and the monsters that we have build over the years to personify our image to the world and our image internally so something like the Animus and the Persona.
The power of Now is a tool that will tame the monsters and release the ability of the hero to continue his quest and complete his journey to get to have Presence in the moment, appreciation of Now, without the ghosts of the past or the demons of the future chaining our existence.
